Angie Gillespie from Independence, Kentucky is making quite the impression in SafeAuto’s “Do The Jingle” contest. From the second the jingle promotion launched for the car insurance company, Gillespie charged towards the top of the contest and has yet to look back.

As of February 4th, Gillespie holds the lead in SafeAuto’s national competition with over 213,000 votes. In her jingle, Angie playfully sings, “When you go for a ride, they’ll be by your side, call 1-800-SafeAuto!”
Media outlets in the Cincinnati and Kentucky area have ran stories on Angie’s new rendition of the SafeAuto jingle. Gillespie spent nearly a month putting together the jingle video for SafeAuto’s annual contest. “I really appreciate everyone’s support they’ve given me,” she said. “So many people are liking, sharing, commenting. It’s so much that I’m physically unable to acknowledge every single thing they do. It’s crazy, but it’s awesome.”
Ultimately, Gillespie will consider this experience successful if she finished in first place and receives $5,000 plus a role in a SafeAuto commercial. The competition runs through February 28, 2014, and is open to public voting at www.dothejingle.com
